May 2025 Construction Machinery Sales Fast Report

Earthmover
According to the statistics of the main manufacturers of earthmovers by the China Construction Machinery Industry Association, in May 2025, a total of 649 earthmovers of various types were sold, a decrease of 3.28% compared to the same period last year. Among them, domestic sales were 112 units, an increase of 31.8%, and exports were 537 units, a decrease of 8.36%.
From January to May 2025, a total of 3,580 earthmovers were sold, an increase of 14.9% compared to the same period last year. Among them, domestic sales were 677 units, an increase of 40.7%, and exports were 2,903 units, an increase of 10.1%.
Truck Cranes
According to the statistics of the main manufacturers of truck cranes by the China Construction Machinery Industry Association, in May 2025, a total of 1,748 truck cranes of various types were sold, a decrease of 8.1% compared to the same period last year. Among them, domestic sales were 978 units, a decrease of 3.36%, and exports were 770 units, a decrease of 13.5%.
From January to May 2025, a total of 9,103 truck cranes were sold, a decrease of 8.94% compared to the same period last year. Among them, domestic sales were 5,181 units, a decrease of 13.8%, and exports were 3,922 units, a decrease of 1.61%.
Crawler Cranes
According to the statistics of the main manufacturers of crawler cranes by the China Construction Machinery Industry Association, in May 2025, a total of 261 crawler cranes of various types were sold, an increase of 31.8% compared to the same period last year. Among them, domestic sales were 56 units, a decrease of 3.45%, and exports were 205 units, an increase of 46.4%.
From January to May 2025, a total of 1,282 crawler cranes were sold, an increase of 5.25% compared to the same period last year. Among them, domestic sales were 402 units, a decrease of 1.23%, and exports were 880 units, an increase of 8.51%.
Mobile Cranes
According to the statistics of the main manufacturers of mobile cranes by the China Construction Machinery Industry Association, in May 2025, a total of 1,681 mobile cranes of various types were sold, a decrease of 20.3% compared to the same period last year. Among them, domestic sales were 1,286 units, a decrease of 27.5%, and exports were 395 units, an increase of 18.6%.
From January to May 2025, a total of 10,695 mobile cranes were sold, a decrease of 3.85% compared to the same period last year. Among them, domestic sales were 8,535 units, a decrease of 6.71%, and exports were 2,160 units, an increase of 9.42%.
Tower Cranes
According to the statistics of the main manufacturers of tower cranes by the China Construction Machinery Industry Association, in May 2025, a total of 538 tower cranes of various types were sold, a decrease of 28.4% compared to the same period last year. Among them, domestic sales were 292 units, a decrease of 51.7%, and exports were 246 units, an increase of 67.3%.
From January to May 2025, a total of 2,334 tower cranes were sold, a decrease of 36.6% compared to the same period last year. Among them, domestic sales were 1,278 units, a decrease of 57.1%, and exports were 1,056 units, an increase of 51.1%.
Industrial Vehicles
According to the statistics of the main manufacturers of forklifts by the China Construction Machinery Industry Association, in May 2025, a total of 123,472 forklifts of various types were sold, an increase of 11.8% compared to the same period last year. Among them, domestic sales were 79,129 units, an increase of 9.25%, and exports were 44,343 units, an increase of 16.6%.
From January to May 2025, a total of 601,764 forklifts were sold, an increase of 9.33% compared to the same period last year. Among them, domestic sales were 392,490 units, an increase of 6.66%, and exports were 209,274 units, an increase of 14.7%.
In May 2025, a total of 52,228 forklifts, excluding electric walk-behind storage vehicles, were sold, an increase of 10.41% compared to the same period last year. Among them, domestic sales were 35,662 units, an increase of 9.93%, and exports were 16,566 units, an increase of 11.46%.
Road Rollers
According to the statistics of the main manufacturers of road rollers by the China Construction Machinery Industry Association, in May 2025, a total of 1,589 road rollers of various types were sold, an increase of 17% compared to the same period last year. Among them, domestic sales were 577 units, an increase of 6.07%, and exports were 1,012 units, an increase of 24.3%.
From January to May 2025, a total of 7,772 road rollers were sold, an increase of 23.7% compared to the same period last year. Among them, domestic sales were 2,905 units, an increase of 10.8%, and exports were 4,867 units, an increase of 32.9%.
Pavers
According to the statistics of the main manufacturers of pavers by the China Construction Machinery Industry Association, in May 2025, a total of 149 pavers of various types were sold, an increase of 30.7% compared to the same period last year. Among them, domestic sales were 107 units, an increase of 33.8%, and exports were 42 units, an increase of 23.5%.
From January to May 2025, a total of 708 pavers were sold, an increase of 31.4% compared to the same period last year. Among them, domestic sales were 521 units, an increase of 32.2%, and exports were 187 units, an increase of 29%.
Elevating Work Platforms
According to the statistics of the main manufacturers of elevating work platforms by the China Construction Machinery Industry Association, in May 2025, a total of 15,653 elevating work platforms of various types were sold, a decrease of 26.2% compared to the same period last year. Among them, domestic sales were 5,284 units, a decrease of 48.1%, and exports were 10,369 units, a decrease of 5.8%.
From January to May 2025, a total of 74,533 elevating work platforms were sold, a decrease of 33.5% compared to the same period last year. Among them, domestic sales were 29,191 units, a decrease of 48.3%, and exports were 45,342 units, a decrease of 18.4%.
Aerial Work Platforms
According to the statistics of the main manufacturers of aerial work platforms by the China Construction Machinery Industry Association, in May 2025, a total of 296 aerial work platforms of various types were sold, a decrease of 33.3% compared to the same period last year. Among them, domestic sales were 286 units, a decrease of 34.1%, and exports were 10 units, the same as the same period last year.
From January to May 2025, a total of 1,906 aerial work platforms were sold, an increase of 12.2% compared to the same period last year. Among them, domestic sales were 1,803 units, an increase of 9.74%, and exports were 103 units, an increase of 87.3%.
