On March 5th, an international direct freight train loaded with municipal castings, fasteners, and other "Made in Hebei" products departed from Jize, heading to Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. This marks the first direct freight train from Hebei Province to the ASEAN market this year.
At 10 a.m., accompanied by the long whistle of the train, the "Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei (Caozhuang Town Station) – Vietnam" international freight train slowly departed from the Caozhuang Town freight station on the Hanhuang Railway. The train was fully loaded with municipal castings, fasteners, grease, and other goods produced by Aijia (Hebei) Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd., located in the Jize Bonded Logistics Service Center. The goods are expected to arrive in Hanoi, Vietnam, in about 7 days.
This is the first direct freight train from Hebei Province to the ASEAN market, carrying a full load of fasteners and other goods.
Yan Jinfa, Deputy Director of the Jize County Bonded Logistics Service Center, stated that the train is loaded with goods from Jize and surrounding areas, including standard parts, castings and forgings, lubricants, rubber flooring, and other products. The direct train from Caozhuang to Hanoi, Vietnam, has changed the previous mode of transshipment via Nanning South, reducing transit time by 1 to 2 days. This further improves transportation efficiency and lowers logistics costs for enterprises. The launch of this international freight train has established a new channel for economic and trade exchanges between China and Vietnam.
It is understood that on May 26th last year, the first ASEAN freight train from "Jize Caozhuang Town Station to Hanoi, Vietnam" was launched, adding a new sea access route for Hebei Province through a combination of road and rail transport. This has facilitated the shipment of bulk products from our city and surrounding counties to Vietnam.
Since the beginning of this year, through active coordination, the ASEAN freight train has been rerouted to go directly from Jize to Hanoi, Vietnam, instead of being reorganized at Nanning Station. This has shortened transit time and enhanced the competitiveness of Hebei Province's products in the Southeast Asian market. Currently, the Caozhuang Town Station can handle up to 2 freight trains per week, with a significant increase in the volume of import and export goods. The range of sources and types of goods has also become more extensive.
