From February 5th to 7th, the 21st China Yongnian Fastener Manufacturers' Networking and Product Exhibition opened at the Fastener Expo Center in Yongnian District, Handan City, Hebei Province. A total of 380 manufacturers from cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen participated in the exhibition, with over 100 overseas buyers attending to make purchases, resulting in a transaction volume of 790 million yuan.
Yongnian District in Handan City is the largest production and distribution hub for fasteners in China, earning the title of "China's Fastener Capital." According to statistics, 340,000 people from 17 townships in Yongnian District are engaged in the production and sales of fasteners. The region boasts a solid industrial foundation, prominent innovation advantages, a complete industrial chain, extensive market coverage, a well-developed logistics network, and a comprehensive range of products.
In recent years, the fastener industry has been transitioning toward high-end, intelligent, and green development, with meteorological services providing support for its steady growth. Yongnian's fasteners are widely used in high-speed railways, new energy vehicles, ships, and other fields. As production standards improve, the metal smelting, forging, and heat treatment processes have raised higher demands for meteorological services. The Yongnian District meteorological department utilizes intelligent grid-based professional analysis models to provide enterprises with weather trend forecasts. Based on meteorological information and integrated with smart production lines, companies can adjust production process parameters in advance, effectively reducing the adverse effects of weather conditions on production.
On the afternoon of February 5th, the Yongnian District Meteorological Observatory issued a blue cold wave warning signal, followed by a yellow strong wind warning signal on the morning of February 6th. The warning information was promptly sent to relevant enterprises via SMS, WeChat, and other channels, providing a basis for adjusting production process parameters.
Yongnian District has implemented classified management for enterprises across the region, achieving intelligent and green production processes. Based on the forecast and warning information provided by the meteorological department, enterprises can take preemptive measures and adjust equipment operation modes, effectively improving environmental protection levels.
At the Hebei Shichuang Land Port Smart Logistics Park in Yongnian District, Handan City, fasteners of various specifications are loaded onto trucks daily and transported worldwide. Yongnian District is home to three large logistics centers, over 50 fastener logistics stations, and more than 10,000 large transport vehicles. Many fastener companies have established their warehouses in Yongnian District.
Zhao Xianyong, head of the Fastener Industry Development Service Center in Yongnian District, Handan City, stated, "Warehousing and logistics are significantly affected by weather conditions. Humid weather can cause rust on fasters in warehouses, while heavy rain and snowstorms can disrupt logistics transportation. The Yongnian District meteorological department has tailored service solutions for warehousing and logistics enterprises, helping them plan inventory management effectively, ensure product quality during outbound processes, and reduce losses during transportation."
The Yongnian District meteorological department has also collaborated with the Hebei Fastener Industry Association to conduct meteorological science training, enhancing the awareness and response capabilities of enterprise managers and frontline employees regarding meteorological disasters. At the same time, suggestions from enterprises are collected during training sessions to continuously optimize the content and methods of meteorological services, making them more aligned with the needs of businesses.
